Thanks. Yeah, that's not a bad way of doing it. Just running a separate screen.

Maybe I'll give VM a go and see if it runs okay. My mac should be fast enough really.

We still have one of the old style minis (8/9 years old i think) running this set up and it holds its own more or less. It just has the occasional mard when you ask it to do too much.
