Whoops, didn't confirm my £3 bet on him. I was getting very excited about my bet (which I didn't place because I'm a doozy) on Stannard.

Loved that he gave it a go in his winning interview. Not being his first language and the euphoria of winning made it difficult, but I think he was calling for solidarity with the displaced peoples in Europe, that was nice. He didn't seem to even want to talk about the race. I started welling up.

Made very nearly a whole tenner with Valverde and Matthews e/w bets. I won't let it change me.
