Ok massive rant coming up:
Its not exactly cycle related but it has made me so angry and I need to rant so here we go.
Was at work with three other guys working alongside me (I work as a barista), minding my own business when a motorbike crew pulled up. Just then one of my male coworkers was all like 'I'm heading out to look', comes back and tells the other two to go have a look. I'm waiting for him (or one of the other two) to tell ME to go have a look. Nobody tells me anything. In fact, they form a little circle and gush about how sick the bikes look etc etc. I'm like I LOVE MOTORBIKES TOO YOU KNOW. But they ignore me because I think they assumed I wouldnt be in that kinda stuff? Fucking hell
Secondly the same guy at work was trying to convince ME that MY bike is not fixed? I'm like mate it is fixed and hes like yea but most girls ride single speed and think its fixed innit. I'm like ITS FIXED I WOULD KNOW THIS. Anyway I still dont think he believes me cause he kinda stopped talking or maybe hes shocked?
Ughhhhhh why does this attitude still exist?
