  • The more I see racing on this circuit the more I think it suits puncheurs with a sprint. That final 5 km is very hard to control and positioning is critical. If the likes of Gilbert, Terpstra, Van Avermaet and Sagan hit out hard then it'll stay strung out all the way to the finish.

    A really hard one to call.

  • Yes, could suit a lot of people. Crashes/rain involved too.

    Depends on luck/tactics. Could be a breakaway, puncher or classics sprinter.

    I'm going to say Sagan. About time he stepped up to WC level.

  • Sagan's team is his problem, too weak to do anything but keep him out of trouble for the first half of the race.
