Seems a good time to buy, they're still decent cars but apparently second hand prices are plummeting.

I have that jacket, and the fibreglass bodywork and wheels to mimic that car and even the reg plate. I even went to Portmeirion, to a prisoner event along with my Father. He did not think it was funny when we got pulled over... several times.

Then quite a few people pointed out what was wrong, sorry, not correct with the car. The loving parents face as he was dragged round Portmeirion because as an architect, I doubt he was that interested.

Have the prices dropped? If the the ved bands are altered maybe, but otherwise people like VW hence not needing to discount new cars, still. Or they owners are waiting to see if they will get any money from VW.

Yeah. Give a fuck. My diesely weasley Golf is still the same car and if the road tax goes up from zero to £20 or £30 a year it won't change my life too much and Vw will probably pay it anyhow.

Insurance sorted, used to use a small broker which is always the same lass who answers the phone a and have been great, but trying to add <25 gf onto a large modded car =$£€ hence had to move on, though miss the personal feel of the broker
