Got it on silent on the laptop while the rugby's on. Those hills look more selective than advertised to me...

But the rest of the lap isn't, so it breaks up on the three hills, then regroups on the flat, wide open roads back round to the hills again.

It suits punchy riders though, so if the peloton has been whittled down there won't be many people left to form a chase.

Really? Thought i saw shimano shifters but that could explain the effectiveness of the neutral Shimano car when he had the issues

They snuck off the front. The absence of a top tier favourite meant that none of the others reacted and suddenly a group of 8, with all the strongest teams represented, was away. Armitstead has no team mates left to chase so has to rely on another nation to chase.
