Not quite - a 72in gear is equivalent to riding an Ordinary with a 72in diameter wheel, so one revolution would be 72*pi=226in.
That doesn't flow as nicely though ... really liked it anyway.
It might be my first, proper cycling story on the blog. Not bad after 6 years or so!
