Trying to work out what to do With my 29er. Its a belt drive singlespeed.
The fatbike has stolen Winter duties. Plus I sold some of the flash bits to fund the road bike. Whats left is bulky and difficult to sell/post.
Tempted to try and monstercross it.
Basically sell my Pro II hubset, and build an alfine wheelset (obviously sanding the white off my Velocity blunt rims). Which will mean sourcing an old School gates belt cog for the alfine.
Then add dirt drops, With Hylex brakes, and a bar end shifter.
Basically a lighter, faster feeling trail bike to partner the beastly fatbike.
Thought? cheapest crank, bar, brake, shifter, options?
Any other belt compatible hub gears?
