Sheffield stands seem to be the way to go alright.

Bike weighs (say) 8kg, you weigh (say) 80kg, plus whatever force you push down on the pedal with. I suspect that the BB and crank have been designed to cope with loads that make those imposed by the bikes own weight manageable.

A mate of mine does cycle parking consultancy. Obvious disclaimer in that he's a mate of mine but I can put you in touch if you want. I couldn't give you advice based on the information you've posted other than to say get rid of the wheelbenders, but you already knew that. :)

Aldi have bike stands for 2 bikes and workshop stand in at the moment. Can't remember 100% but think they're £30 and £25 respectively.

Saturday project: get the fucking bike out of the back porch. Just a temp solution until I manage to re-roof the proper shed. That will have 6-7 in it then!
I've got this chain that I'm going to lock from one side to the other through the main triangles. Not ideal I know, but good enough for insurance purposes.
Anyone got any ideas on what I should be looking for as a more secure replacement for the door? The current one is flimsy, so is the lock so I'd like to replace it with something more secure, with spending silly amounts ideally.

Shed Shackle arrived, it feels like a beast. Also got two sets of U-hasps to secure the top and bottom of the door. Using combination discus locks. Might eventually get some better keyed alike discuss locks but for the meantime they seem pretty good for the money. Saves extra keys and the shape of the hasp itself will prevent the padlock being attacked. Have a third discuss lock to use on the heavy chain I'll be using on the shed shackle so I will just need one key for the main shed door lock.

Only just saw that you asked for the size of my shed, it's 6' x 6', aka too small to be useful.
I did buy plastic shelves and boxes last weekend though, which have maximised the space even more.

Ordered some temporary sectional pathway to stop me from turning the garden into a quagmire over winter until we can work out a permanent solution. Ordered 16 tiles, 4 square metres to make a 4x1 path from the door to the shed. They sent me 32 tiles.
Below is the 16 laid out

Anyone after Topeak Dual touch stand? I am selling one here: https://www.lfgss.com/conversations/274581/
I'm considering this stand, for storing 4 bikes. I'd take yours but unfortunately it'll be easier for me to just buy one online and have it delivered as we're each opposite ends of London.
How do you find it out of interest? Would recommend?

Are you guys not doing much on internal security? Maybe I'm paranoid but my bikes are stuck on the floor attached to a Pragmasis ground anchor and 13mm chain!

Shed arrives this Thursday, planning to build on Saturday. Fuck off rain!

I'm toying with a shed shackle and some chains. I've got three padlocks on the door with coach bolts on the hinges and a difficult to access garden thanks to anti fox spikes on surrounding neighbours fences. The upshot of those spikes is that a thief would need to get the bikes out by coming 22m towards the house into security lights and up the side entry. So working on the basis of keeping scum out of the shed because it's too much effort.

I'll bring it to central?
Any good alternatives to pedal hooks? Need to hang one bike above the other from a wall. Feel like pedal hooks put unnecessary strain on BB/Crank which I don't much want failing. Putting wood under the wheels lessens the strain I guess.
