Haven't read his book on it, I bet it's full of daft stuff. I didn't realise that he still owns the name and leases it to the people who demolished it to build flats.
He also said that on the last few year of its life that he reckons it lost about £15millon quid.....
Considering I regularly get the piss taken for having a very 'Manchester' music collection, the #threadderail (I see what you did there) is quite apt!

Yeah exactly, lots of daft stuff in there, yeah he would be x times richer had it not been for the money pit that was the hacienda.
