  • Isn't there a risk of splintering the carbon with standard blades? It'll be the one above or a 32tpi one, which both cost the same. Just wanted to know if the one above is meant for carbon too. Don't want to pay for the Park tool either. Might try masking tape or a plastic tube over it.

  • you can use a Junior hacksaw, the smaller blade has a much higher TPI than a normal full size one and they're much easier to find.

    I turned a tube to fit the steerer of my SuperSix and used a junior hacksaw, no one died.
