I accidentally trespassed onto the set of it, sat in the actual throne, and worked with two of the actors in it. One of my favourite things is to tell people that, watch them lose their minds because they fucking love that program, then tell them I've only ever watched one episode and it was shit.

Can't say I would do any different.

I'm a big fan of invoking the language of my people and using "You" (singular) and "Youse" (pl.). For really big plurals you can plus size it with "Youse lot".

Logically it's a bit like the southern states "Y'all" which is of course singular. The plural being not "Y'all" or even "Y'alls" but "All Y'all".

Another that's stuck with me is from a friend from Middlesborough. Loved his "Us" (pronounced "ooz") for "our", as in "Fookinell I'm right starving, what shall we 'ave for us teas?".

It's all about the "teas". "Us tea" just makes no kinda sense.

Funny I remember getting down with a girl from the the North East one time. Once she decided she was down she said, "I want you to focus."

I was like, "I am focussed!"

She: "No I want you to fuc us"

Then I started to wonder if she was a paranoid schizophrenic. It was a bit unsettling looking around the room for sharp objects...Good times though.

Yep, my main objection to double barrelling is the lack of scalability. As a computer scientist it offends me.

Tori and I have different surnames. Our kids have hers as a surname and mine as a middle name. Helps that Ashton Kutchner made my surname into a forename for the masses.
