They look super neat with their lack of flap and nice curved solid end, but the front just sploshes water onto my toes every time you go through a puddle (its was all puddle today so lots of sploshing).
Tyre sounds like a good shout, I just don't have any worn out old massive slicks and don't really want to go so ghetto I've got nobblies stuck to the end.
Think someone somewhere said they made some out of vinyl, but from the above posts, this may be too flappy for a good flap.
