  • Putting this up for sale as it just doesn't fit me right (after a bike fit my main bike is now pretty much 53 square) and hasn't seen any where near the use it needs to get.

    Serotta Tri-Colorado
Seat tube is 59 ctt and 54.5 ctc
    Top tube 56.5 ctc
    Chris King gripnut headset
    Deda Piega compact drop bars
    Akoya quill stem
    Kalloy seatpost
    Flite saddle
650c HED3 clinchers with continental grand prix tyres 650x23
10 speed shimano 105 5700 with the 11-speed 5800 chainset as it looks alot nicer. This groupset is pretty much brand new, covered less than 60 miles.

The Salsa sticker on the top tube is hiding some missing paint, the sticker was there when I got the frame and i've never taken it off so I can't comment on how bad this is. Also missing some paint around the headset and some on the chain stays but this is hidden by the chainset iirc. No dents! More pictures on request.

King cage and pedals not included but I will throw in a Zipp "disk" valve adapter to make the Heds easier to pump up with a track pump.

Looking for £800 or nearest offer. Collection from Amersham or Marylebone Stations.

    Makino NJS
    Seattube 56.5ctt, toptube 56.5ctc
120mm rear spacing and 27.2mm post
Couple of small dents and chips but nothing serious. Comes with Hatta headset and BB but the headset needs either a serious overhall or replacing, BB is silky smooth.
    £250 ono SOLD

  • Rad! This is rad! GLWS!

  • This thing is the shit! Whoever buys this is a HHSRB king. Too bad it didn't work out for you.

Anyway good luck with the sale!

  • dibs front wheel if splitting!

  • Fucking love that frame. But 650c makes me sad

  • Nice frame

  • Sorry it didn't work out for you, this build is rad !
The paint chip under the salsa decals is about 1cm x 0,5cm (if I recall correctly) nothing bad, it's just paint and the salsa decal looks cool B-)
Don't be afraid of 650c it's a killer on the streets, you get the fastest start at the green light ! And it's a nice roadie also.

  • Damn this is tempting.

  • Added Makino to first post

  • Wondering if I could fit on this..how tall are you?

  • I'm just under 6ft

  • Serotta now £775
    Makino £240

  • Sorry for the ignorance but is 120mm spacing standard? Really like the makino

  • Yep.

  • i would love to buy the 650c front hed, if splitting!

  • Very interested in the 650 Hed pair.

  • 2nd dibs on the Hed wheelset if you split. cheers

  • Won't be spliting unless someone shows interest in the frameset only. Thanks

  • Makino sold.

Serotta now £750 ono. Or possibly swap/part-ex for something I can use through winter, cross, road, touring etc.

  • Do you know how much does it weight?

What's the year of the frame?

  • Weighs 9.7kg as shown in the pictures. Sorry I'm not sure on the year of the frame but can check to see if the frame number gives any clues when I get home.

  • Ok, thanks.

  • Any news?

  • Sorry, totally forgot to reply, the serial number didn't give anything obvious away. Not sure if anyone on here would have any idea of age?

  • Think the 650c Tri's were early 90's
