Thanks guys. I'm very pleased with the way it's turned out. Burt, my understanding is that Mercian have indeed stopped producing Velocita - this is a refurb job done by Mercian themselves on a 2009 frame. It is painted in yellow enamel and will be finished with full Campag Chorus. One job left to do it the removal of the Deda logos on the the fork - Mercian wouldn't do it as they were worried about damaging the carbon. I've found a friendly paint shop in Sheffield that will wet sand and re-clear coat for me. I'll post some more pics when the frame arrives here from Derby.
