If I ride in my Giro Chamber or Shimano DX shoes with my Atacs (old style plastic body) I feel like my feet are falling off the side of the pedals.
Don't get this feeling if I wear my Gearne G.Keiras,
My feet are rather bike, size 46/11.
I imagine it's something to do with the Chamber/DX shoes being less stiff and supportive.
Could it be cleat position?
It's making me consider going back to spd as I never had this issue riding either the Chambers or the DX shoes on m540 spuds.

I had that with the Chambers with old style atacs and the platformed mx4(I think?).
Gave up on the shoes in the end, they were too flexy and could never get them to feel right regardless of pedal type... -

I have mx4s on another bike and find them to be more supportive actually, just can't use the Chambers to ride my fixed as that's got the old style atacs.

The MKS US-B Nuevo could replaced the now shoddy Time ATAC;
Same cleat too, little black bit is actually a guide that make it easier to clip in.

Has a patent for the ATAC system expired or have time licenced it to Mavic and MKS?
-
• #982
have to say they look good. still a bit pricey

Still rocking some ATACs from 2011. Still smooth as fuck.

I have fond memories of this;

Fantastic pedal! Still got a few pairs.
When I run out of useable ones and can't find more I'll probably jump ship to look S track.

Mavic pedals are just time rebranded.

My 3 pairs of alliums are still battling on

I need atac (or atac cleat compatible) in Orange. What are my options?
Other than a spraycan.

Fantastic pedal! Still got a few pairs.
I found that the round rail reduced wear on the cleat compared to the more expensive rectangle rail one.

The sun goes down.. (on what used to be the best pedals.. ever!)
Has this been resolved yet?
EDIT: Honestly, I haven't got a scooby-do what's going on here. Has the company gone bust or something?
-
• #993
They haven't gone bust, just that the quality isn't as consistent as it used to be, if you have to start replacing parts on your pedals after a year or two, then there's something wrong.

Has anyone got a 10mm socket that fits in the pedal? I need to service my atac but the one I have doesn't fit inside the hole

But if I remember correctly from a couple of years ago the alliums were the lowest priced entry point to the world of Time at ~£50. Lasted me two years.
So if MX2 last me one year at £25 per pair then I'm essentially in the same place financially. (Although this sort of thinking is not great for the environment of course.)So should I get those MX2/MX4/MX6 at all? Or ar we so far away from the old days of glory that I should just forget Time ever existed?

I have two pairs of the new ATACs, XC8 anc XC12, both a bit less than 1 year old. I commuted, crashed, gone off road, ridden brakeless and so far working flawessly with 0 maintenance.
Only problem so far is getting a pair of cleats and they were both left foot -
• #997
I got a pair of right feet.

wanna buck me a pair?

Anyone know where I can get the MKS US-B Nuevo shipped to London or (even better) for pickup today? My Times seem to be on their last legs, I fancy taking a punt but can only find them at Compass Cycles but don't want to wait for shipping from US.

^How does this Rinko deal work? I'm not sure if I like the idea of my pedals being removed without tools.
The old xc2 have round bars. I think square bars are an upgrade as its what's used on the higher spec pedals. The shape is now the same as the higher spec pedals as well. Look nicer than the old xc2 and better spec I suppose.
Anyone wanna buy a pair of old style xc2 for £30? ;)
