You clearly don't believe in rehabilitation of offenders then?

Do you not think that a) they might want to reform and b) have a reputation that is now worth protecting?

perhaps I'm being a little harsh, but it isn't the most obvious choice for ex offenders though is it, particularly given that re-offense rates in the UK sit at over 45% within 12 months of release....

What do you mean by this?

That we should be sceptical because this isn't an obvious choice for them?
That we should be critical because they're not conforming to stereotype?
