  • Don't, donate it to me.

  • Ahahah! I'll (maybe) give it to you but i first need a strap

  • My wife if off to Tokyo for a while soon and is happy to do some watch shopping for me. I am totally overwhelmed by the number of awesome Seikos that you can't easily buy over here. I don't know where to start.

  • a 40mm omega art collection max Bill

  • Thanks, really nice one.
I just bought as a pre-birthday watch this little inexpensive stuff:

Does anyone knows anything on it?

  • it's got a few numbers 1-12, and the a few words.

  • it's made by seconda. never heard of em.

  • There's some treasure, probably inside.

  • I can't afford a GS at the moment so I'm thinking about a SARB033 and a Tuna. Not 100% on the 033 but read so many nice things about it.

  • Build quality is OK but not wonderful.

  • Hold out for the GS. You'll be glad of it.

  • ^ What he said.

  • Oh, right, you all killed me.

  • I've made sure that Mr Hedge knows which GS I like so if I'm reaallly nice to her before she goes...

  • Mr Hedge? As in your wife Mr Hedge?

  • Lol. Typo. Or was it?

  • I see who wears the trousers.....

  • And possibly the artificial appendage with straps...

  • You're not talking about a watch are you.

  • ^ Rep

  • Natos, are they much of a muchness or is anywhere recommended to get them from. Need some 18mm ones. Cheers

  • Watch Obsession ones are a bit nicer than the ones off ebay

  • The official MOD ones are currently made by a company called Phoenix. Genuine ones have no stitching and are welded together with heat.

You can buy them cheap on eBay sometimes as an auction, or Silvermans also sell them.

  • Go to the TZ UK forum - Timezone, the hosting company (well, a chap called Eddie really) does a great range of NATOS. I have a few and the quality is top.

  • Gone through a bit of a watch obsession over the last year. I've bought, sold and traded Rolex Explorer II, Breitling Steelfish, Breitling Chronomat 44, IWC Aquatimer and Panerai PAM0048.

Now settled on a three watch collection. JLC Master Hometime for dress and travelling, a Tudor Heritage Ranger (that I've had converted to destro for comfort - quite a sticky out crown) for a normal day in the office and a dirty secret of a Steinhart Vintage Military (very high end quality Lolex if I'm honest) for a weekend beater.

I do keep hovering over the button for a JLC Reverso Tribute to 1931 - but I'm managing to resist. It's been three months since I've bought or flipped a watch and I've made an internal promise to myself to hang out to year's end to make sure I have the disease under control.
