A clarification on rules because apparently some people don't know that DBAD stands for Don't Be A Dick.

We are not playing by North American rules, trying to get back to a game where we can just have fun, not shout at each other about technicalities of "obstruction". Common equipment safety standards will be in place: plugged bar ends, no bits hanging off your bike, no exposed cogs on non-drive side, no through bolt mallets.
Oor Matt put it rather nicely:

"My polotopian vison is that a ref will enforce but take cues from hecklers. The hecklers are calling the shots but someone needs to maintain consistency throughout a game.

Penalties are 'behave' for being a wee dick, 'tap-out' for being an actual dick and 'sit the fuck doon til ye calm the fuck doon' for being a huge fucking arsehole of a dick."
