I have swapped the ten speed cassette for an eight speed I already had as I had two new 8 speed chains and had already fitted an 8 speed rear derailleur. Don't want to spend too much as I want to see what I can produce for peanuts using leftovers. Our loft conversion starts tomorrow so I'll be as poor as a poor thing for two months. I was looking at the expense of another derailleur and a 10 speed chain so it makes sense. It's all cabled up today and awaits some new bar tape tomorrow if I get the time.
