Mine was easton disc; which is big clearance oversized cx fork (and didn't have mudguard mounts originally).
After seeing how @TM 's carbon genesis fork held up to having a heavily loaded rack on, it would get my vote.

Cheaper than Enve might still be ££££ but I'd like to know what that was.
There seem to be quite a few Chinese ones on EBay starting at around £60 which sounds promising, anyone got any experience of those?
