As it's getting darker, some of my cry/gloom/grim list: Rabid Dogs, Infernal Affairs, Melancholia Nymphomaniac 1 , Poetry, Gomorrah, Sympathy for Mr Vengeance, The Silence, The Act of Killing (d0c about Indonesian massacres), The Bothersome Man (existentialism, sort of...right in the feelz) and City of Life and Death.
And man bites dog if you like your grim with a dose of surreal.
