I had those in mind during the build, until I found out they're also only available for 22.2mm bars.
I want to put it on a drop bar, so I think filing it down won't cut it either and it leaves me no other than a cross top lever..

I think there will be no problem for the chainring difference. If the FD can be low enough IMO should be fine

On a drop bar?
I can't picture the placement. If you're using a flat or north road bar, use the 750.
If you're using a drop bar use the 720, along with proper levers. -

This is what I'm after. It's not my bike and the guy really wants dropbars + this placement.

I've bought a shimano stx rc crankset for my touring bike. I wanna take the granny off and use it as a double. Does any of you know what will happen to the chainline if a use a 107mm bb? And is that even possible?

These ones -

I used to have a bike with the Nitto Moustache bars and then old-school drops on horizontally, which worked alright.
Because of the cable pull it may only work on straight bars when there's very little lever travel though.
If they're being that fussy they'll probably had to make do with crosstop levers though. Beggars can't be choosers!

Thanks! I'm really pleased with it, its a great frame, shame I have no idea who made it, despite the very distinct lugwork.
Seat cluster
Head tube
LOVE Cinelli Caleido bartape
More of the lugs and the patina
Campagnolo track endsIt has Campagnolo dropouts and number on the BB, anyway idea where I could go to find out who built the thing?

This is fucking rad!

It is indeed. But I think the rim decs need to go as well. Nothing has ever been improved by having 'Miche' written on it.

Chainline should come in by 5.5mm compared with the 118mm BB it's designed for. The two problems you might run into are the crank boss (1) interfering with the driveside BB cup or the granny ring bosses (2) interfering with the chainstay. I've had the latter when using a BB only 5mm too short with a Shimano MTB triple. If you don't get (2) and everything else is good, you can always file off the granny ring bosses.

@Jimmy_Fingers rad bike! beautiful frame & fork. destickered rims +1

• #104193
Haha you're right, although it's a great wheelset for the money

Lots of votes to desticker, increasingly I'm coming around to it

Decided just to go with a BLB BLever and probably slightly modify the tip.
Thanks all.

In the couple of years since I was last interested, is there a good fork which meets the following criteria:
-lighter than Genesis Equilibrium Disc fork (shouldn't be too difficult)
-carbon
-disc brake mounts
-mudguard mounts
-road-friendly geo (e.g. not a big old CX fork)
-not ££££££s (e.g. Enve fork with epoxied mounts)Thanks!

Cheaper than Enve might still be ££££ but I'd like to know what that was.
There seem to be quite a few Chinese ones on EBay starting at around £60 which sounds promising, anyone got any experience of those?

i think his were EC90 forks. So still a cross fork and not road clearences?
I need to lacquer a frame soon too (it's already been raw for 10+ months, oooops), so also interested in tips: what lacquer to buy / how many layers, bla bla.
