Love it mate. Like you said a bit rich for my needs right now!
So I'm debating selling my Chas Roberts track frame, forks and Campagnolo HS.
Bought it a few months ago with the intentions of building it up and using it Scotland as a run around but in all honesty I go there so infrequently I can't really justify it. I could keep it as it's a rare and beautiful build but I'm currently in the middle of a few projects and looking a road bike so would rather sell it. I know I'll probably regret it but hey..
As far as I'm aware it was built for an athlete in the 90's and used a couple of times in the velodrome then stored since.
Currently away for a few days but will get exact details later.
TT 560 ctc
ST 570 ctc 58.5ctt
1 inch threaded forks, ROBERTS stamped dropouts
Campagnolo Chorus HS. As new with sealed bearings.
Columbus Nivachrom Custom oversized tubing.
Beautifully tapered chain and seat stays.
Lugged construction
Painted in a deep metallic blue with Roberts decals. In great condition with very few marks. There are a few paint chips on the underside of the chainstays and scuffs, guessing if the chain came off or similar.
Usual marks on all dropouts from bolting on wheels.
Minor peeling of the decals around an edge or two but definitely nothing bad or that affects the overall look (or performance ;) )
Campag seatbolt
Had the seat tube reamed and cleaned for heavy monies so works beautifully.
£650...640...630..580
Will add photos etc
Any q's please ask
Dibs and PM
Can be viewed in Southampton and can post
Thanks. Tom
