No, ancient bling. My father bought it in 1970, and when he died I made sure I got to 'look after' it. It's just had a long overdue service, and needed an outing after ten years in the sock drawer.

I've worn my Ocean Black every day since it arrived, bloody love it... Changing things up and wearing the cheapo ten year old Flieger today, such a ludicrously fun watch to wear...

It does get fogged up when I'm in a very warm room and there are a little bit of damage. If you look at the image above you can see it on the left of the three and right above that, next to the brand name.

Nice find. I got the top one as a normal submariner model but it's not waterproof XD. Must be the age of the sealing rings though.
