I guess the bigger sensor means you're getting less depth of field at f2.8 on the new GR than the older ones so maybe f1.9 wasn't needed for getting the same subject isolation. Obviously you're losing a stop of aperture but the bigger sensor also means noise levels are lower so higher isos are probably cleaner and more useable?

Yeah, these are pretty good!
Used to think I would not want to go back to APS-C / non-FF - but really re-thinking this by now.
So many occasions where it would be sweet to have a proper, pocketable camera on hand, and image quality of these things seem sufficient for the majority of things..
I just don't get why they didn't keep the lens f 1.9 with the latest GR..
