Raw and shiny(pic taken moments after finishing) but California souvenir tattoo is done. Really chuffed with it. Kinda hard to get a clear pic as it wraps around my arm..
Not looking forward to a long flight home tomorrow tho. LadyLiz has it worse tho as she had her upper back done. Hopefully by tomorrow it'll be less sore so she can sit back at least. Any tips for flying with fresh tats? Wrap or no?

I'd wrap if it's easier so it doesn't bash against stuff. Or if you're not
worried about knocking it then I'd take moisturiser in your carry on to make sure it doesn't dry out and get scabby on the plane. -

Sat in airport waiting for flight home. Found tattoogoo in CVS next to our motel for $3 so that'll keep it moist til we get home. People in departures are looking at us funny for moisturising each other....

Went for the second session last Thursday, got the piece finished. I am quite happy with it, though I have no clue how to take a nice picture of it.
Tip to anyone getting their first tattoo: Avoid armpit. -

Rob Kelly did a couple of mine, great guy, great studio. Happy with many styles, the only style I probably wouldn't get him to do is realistic portrait. Might pay him another visit when I go back again later this year actually. English dude...
He charges HKD$1500 / hour, so roughly about £120 give or take.
There is this guy who did a tatt for David Beckham, you'll probably come across him when you do your research, can't remember the name, but his work is a bag of shit and totally over priced. Chinese dude.
Would think twice before commiting to Star Crossed, another studio you will come across with googling as they always comes top in google search, weird people and I have heard not so great things about them. The most worrying thing is that last time I checked, as I almost went with them is they take walk-ins all day long, all year round...
Joey Pang is THE best in HK, but waiting list is 3 years+...
There are also a few young Chinese artists whose portfolio look impressive, I can find their names again if you like.

The cup is never half full/ half empty. It has half liquid and half air, so is completely full at all times, etc etc.
