I've now got a shed and bought some Clugs to hang bikes vertically on the wall.
All the pictures I've seen of Clug hangers have the bikes hanging by the front wheel. Is there any reason why hanging by the rear wheel wouldn't work, other than it possibly being a bit more awkward to take down?
I think the way to maximise space might be to hang them up down up but I'm struggling with the logic of it.
Surely Clugs don't take the weight, they just ensure bike is balanced, with the weight going through the rear wheel which is on the ground. Front down, the bike will not balance due to fork pivoting. Might just about work but doubt would be sufficiently stable.
