Are there any papers that quantify (or even just show) the effects years after the last dose?

There's Dwayne Chambers' race results ;-)

Chambers ruefully reckoned he got slower after taking all the dope! He kept running very fast into his 30s though, as a clean athlete and advocate for anti-doping. Bit of a weird one, that.
