@daveangel speaking of the pockets, I reckon some extra reinforcement on the top would be a sound addition.
The stitching itself is fine, but the sportwool isn't strong enough to take the weight of jersey pocket contents, so eventually over time the wool tears either side of the tacking at the top of the middle pocket.
So maybe if there was a bar of something much stouter/strong than the sportwool, on the inside of the jersey, effectively across the top of the middle pocket, it might stop this from happening?
Not a complaint at all, got a few of your jerseys that have all been crashed in, and have all lasted really well over 2-3 years.

My jersey's drawstring's come undone. Nit complaining as it's a couple of years old. Just wondering what the best way to repair it was. The cord slots through the hole and needs anchoring at the fat grey seam, I think but I'm no sewing expert. Do I need to go through the elastic as well as the black sheath thing?

To prevent it fraying further get it close to a flame,
crush it as soon as it starts melting.I would leave it outside ,
as you have no access to anchor the cord to the seam.
Tie 2 succesives knots at the end of the cord,
tie to fat grey seam,
through the knots.
I would avoid sewing the cord:
it's elastic and the thread isn't.Use a little piece of cloth as a gorge blocking/hiding the knots,
and preventing chafing to your gracious neck. -

Thanks for your comments, we reinforced the pocket areas with a colour matched elastic inside the rear of the jersey and also increased the size of the rear pockets to accommodate the ever increasing size of phones as best we can...its gotta stop somewhere though !

Any chance of getting the mens jerseys in the same colour at the ladies? The black and red combination is great, frustrating its not available for us fellas

Need to give the girls a bit of exclusivity on those colours this year....but I've heard this a few times now ! I'm doing a bit of black and pink for the gents and a new limited edition blue jersey next month to celebrate 5 years doing this stuff...it's been emotional.

Has anyone tried the short sleeve ones in really hot weather? I'm planning a coast to coast tour of the USA next summer and temps will be in the 30s. Do they really build up smell that much less than normal light weight poly jerseys if I'm going to be sweating in them every day? Also considering a couple of the pedal ed kaido, but works out at double the price with brexit and no tax.

Yeah, theyre too warm for me in anything over about 23/24.
Id take two normal summer jerseys and wash them overnight. -
• #823
Yes they do build up smell much less than a polyester jersey and we are all different in terms of how hot we run....but I've never seen a hot sheep ;-)

Not Welsh then?

...well there was one...but it was a long time ago.
Not a complaint, just an observation. Most brands come up different in sizing. Thanks for the info though!
