OK I can see it now. I would of had to replace my braze-on with the specific AX adaptor (which I had). I wasn't prepared to do that. Hence why I am going Super Record for next season.

after the xmas - new years holidays the wheels have been laced and the profil 3 is complete!
i will take some better pictures with a more neutral background, but i couldn't wait, so these are from my yard.
special thanks to @Vince for parting with the profil saddle, that is the only part i thought i would never find.
now to get my gitane aero profil frame painted..

@Skull_&_Biscuits here are some pictures. i saw your gazelle (what a banger!) if you have the little cable guide for the front derailleur i'm not sure what could cause the problem. maybe the shifter needs to be tightened because it cant take the tension?
