I feel yer pain danb, my step son accidentally killed a nuded DL-103 when he was about 15 after my partner asked him to 'pick the needle up off the record as she's busy at the moment' . He's 26 y/o now and buys me pints of ace Ale down the pub now so he's forgiven. Mostly :-)
Agreed, DL-110 is fantastic IMO. Amazing taste of MC at ~£140 mark. Tracks superbly too. Only cartridge in my own set up I've ever heard give it a challenge is a 103R but its about 2 x the cost of a DL-110 IIRC and need' either extra gain or SUT's.
