Sooooo, yesterday the little fella had a droopy tail and bloodshot eye and was a bit grumpy but eating and moving around ok.
We kept him in overnight (which didn't go down well)
Vets today. He has perked up in the morning, vets at lunchtime, 2 puncture marks in the tail and bloodshot eye could be from a car hit......
We reckon he's been fighting on the shed roof/fence top and fell off.
Vets cleaned him up, an antibotic and a painkiller jab and he was really perky this afternoon.
So perky he bought me a present, which after the photo was still alive........ the bird flapped into the laundry basket, i grabbed it and moved to a room with an open window, the bird make a break for the window, but cat was too fast (good drugs) and grabbed bird at the open window.......so close but so far.......
Chased cat and he dropped the bird who made another break for freedom out the window......bird made it this time, the contents of the window ledge didn't.
Cue a confused cat as his toy/tea has gone.
I think he's allright after his late night fight and healing up. Might be grumpy in the morning when vets drugs wear off.
