Living in the NE of Scotland I've found the hardshell with a merino base layer to be great in the winter months. I'm a fan

I would. If I was bought one.
But I'm a bit of a cunt.

I now use it for trips to the pub on my "pub bike" (which cost less than the jacket)
that's what I call dedication.
I also am ready to receive a cheap but futile hardshell via mail, preferably large but medium also ok. Pm for details.

If it ends up a few pound cheaper than the plain one I'd buy it.
Love a string vest, me.

Its inside a jersey/jacket .. who cares?

• #22660
I would, as soon as it's £15 in the sale...

I'm moving back home so I'm an hours ride away from Kilver Court :)

I used my hardshell for city riding... Wouldn't use on sporty rides. Still don't understand what the difference between the 'hardshell/city' jacket and current rain jacket is tho?
Seeing as all you guys hate yours has anyone got one in medium, with pref. for black, old gold or the 'riginal Paul Smith?

rain jacket is a lot smaller/lighter and fits in a back pocket of a jersey non?
-
• #22665
Yep. Rain Jacket actually packs up smaller than the Gilet I think...

Vultures please note: i sold my hardshell about 3 weeks after buying. I certianly wouldn't be on here affecting the market value by slagging it off if I was selling one :)

Just in the offchance. After vehemently slating the new collection I actually quite like the rain jacket and it's a good deal cheaper than the hardshells going on ebay new.
Still tempted to send them my old one back for repair to see what they do...

Anyone ITK if the PT arm warmers are likely to reappear this year?
-
• #22669
PTJ + riding faster is cheaper.
-
• #22670
Really hoping the winter hats reappear before long. Want to receive one on birthday in October!

We can't all be as pro as you Fox.

Anyone got a XXL classic jersey for sale??
I was heavily fcked over by Sigma Sport (avoid at all costs)! -
• #22673
Heavy fucking? Pray tell, I can feel myself getting mildly aroused already.

I bought a hardshell off the 'Bay recently. Since I jog here in eastern Canada regularly at -20, I suspect the hardshell will work just fine on the bike on the drier winter days. Looking forward to it, actually.

If you're referring to the PT softshell arm warmers, then I'm wondering the same
These hardshells sound shit.
You guys should post me a large for cheap.......
