• I got this here:

http://www.lfgss.com/conversations/261541/ and misread the sizing in my enthusiasm. Built it up, cycled it once but it's too big.

Lee cooper needs no introduction here, I've a Thorn XTC made by him and the half an hour or so I cycle this frame it felt "right", very stable. Note the yummy BB brazing...

TT is 54 cm CTC, ST is 55 CTT, material is 631 and seatpost size is 27.2.
The seattube seems to scratch the posts but there's no LBS that ream seattubes in Belfast, so I'd get that looked at if you buy it. The posts fit fine, but they get scratched a lot more than on my other frames.

Comes with Campag BB and headset, which according to previous owner were new when fitted. I can't really see, but they feel smooth and there's no tiny scratched or dullness or other use signs.

Starting at £250>£240>£230>£220 UK posted (can post abroad at cost)

Lee doesn't build anymore bar for 14bikeco and this is a great frame to use with a porteur rack

  • Lovely, I've ridden a Lee Cooper frame before and was smooth as.... glws

  • I remember seeing this around Glasgow Uni last year, beautiful colour! I'd love to repatriate it to Glasgow, if only I could afford it.. glws

  • interested in cranks and chain ring and chain could you sell separately?

  • Hi Sam, yes I can will PM you :)

  • JWestland, what height are you? Interested in the frame but not sure if too big?

  • Hello -

I am 5"5 with a 30" inseam. So, the frame as you see in the photos is setup for me with a 6 cm stem and no standover (very low seatpost...)

I'd say 31" legs is better, that means you at least have standover :)
So about 5"6' or 5"7' in height. If you normally cycle a 53-55 square it will be fine I'd say.

  • Off to EvilBay... can take it off obv. if you ping me before it's sold.

  • 125?

  • No.

  • Sold on evilbay, thanks for all the interest :)

  • That's one sad looking saddle

  • Better a sad saddle than a sad face :P

They're not lookers, but I tried a Spez Oura, which is OK but not totally spot-on. These things are an (ugly) revelation. No pressure points, back supported, no rubbing...

...though saddles I believe are like Marmite...

  • hahaha very true indeed sir!
