Hard to make that decision if you have to, saying goodbye to a longtime friend/family member. Our cat (18) deteriorated rapidly over he course of a week last winter. We made the appointment, having a hard time accepting the fact that there was a set time at which he would be gone the next morning. Very unsettling experience. I wish that should your Roo have to go, it will not be at the vet's but gracefully in her sleep.
