Pt soft shell vs Pt jacket?

I've owned the jacket. Tempted to try the soft shell. I have plenty of woodies to wear under if it's not as warm.

PTSS is a bit more stuffy but not bad at all. Definitely more weatherproof. Fits very snug, almost like a wetsuit. I have both, like both and wear both in different conditions.

Stuffy isn't going to be an issue.

More weatherproof could be good.

Reflective oversocks, my life was so empty before these.

has somebody already the longs sleeve training jersey? Wonder how thick it is compared to the "normal" longs sleeve jersey. reflective oversocks is a nice idea it think, but why are they so high? Quite happy to have some old pairs...

I suggested this exact product to Prendas last year and they said they weren't sure there was a market for them. EDIT: On re-reading the email, they're waiting to see how well their socks with a reflective strip sell before considering an entirely reflective oversock

Reflective oversocks sound visible and tough... will they be warm though?

You can always get a pair of toe covers to go under the sock if you need to layer up. It's what I do with the Prendas over socks.

I've got some sealskin socks which i can use too... I do get pretty cold feet though. Bad circulation.

Depends on your definition of warm...Warmer than just shoes, not as warm as overshoes. They're very effective in the wild - the Coral is particularly lairy and visible. Pair of winter socks under and I'm toasty until it gets proper cold.
