So the pawtrack arrived today and it's MASSIVE. However the wolf seems not really bothered by it and the tracking ability is very good indeed sofar.
I would say the bigger your cat is the better it will fit. I have it on the very tightest notch on the collar and its still a little lose.

On another note I have a cat box going for free/forum donation. Will suit a small cat or kitten only.
The Wolf has grown out of it.
Collect from Ealing way, or I might be able to bring it into town. (toy mouse not included)

What does Pawtrack do?

It's a gps tracker for your cat. When the cat is out of the house it sends back GPS co-ords every 10 minutes (or bigger intervals if you want) When it gets back to the house - it recognises it's home when it can connect to your home wifi - it then goes to sleep until the cat goes out of range again.
You can replay where the cat has been over any period of time and also set a boundary, if the cat goes past the boundary line, you get emailed.
Here's a short vid I made of yesterday afternoon's traces.

Do they sell a smaller version, or at least an adaptor, so that it can be used around the penis of unfaithful husbands?

A year, but if you don't get on with it in the first 7 days, you can send it back for a full refund.

I love a good cuddle from my cat, but I am not sure if I'd want this. Cute though.

2 years ago today, I signed my life away... I know you only stay with me coz you get posh dinners and unlimited supplies of anything a cat could ever wish for, but I love you nonetheless, Patch. Rock on year 3 of mice catching at stupid o'clock!

Cheers, apart from ignoring me and turning her nose up from her special dinner after a few mouth full, we have had a great evening so far.

Roo was taken to the vet yesterday. She has various neurological and physiological symptoms, probably caused by a few strokes.
It's what we thought it might be, and entirely unsurprising given that she's over 20 years old.
The vet has counselled to have her put down, but the ex (who she lives with) and myself are not ready to pull that trigger.
She seems happy, still purrs (and hisses) and appears comfortable enough for the moment.
Her main problems are occasionally falling over, not bothering with the litter tray , and needing to be taken to food occasionally, but we don't want to get rid of her just becuase she's an inconvenience though.
I think that once she stops feeding, though, it will be time to take her back to the vet for the last time.

Hard to make that decision if you have to, saying goodbye to a longtime friend/family member. Our cat (18) deteriorated rapidly over he course of a week last winter. We made the appointment, having a hard time accepting the fact that there was a set time at which he would be gone the next morning. Very unsettling experience. I wish that should your Roo have to go, it will not be at the vet's but gracefully in her sleep.

Sooooo, yesterday the little fella had a droopy tail and bloodshot eye and was a bit grumpy but eating and moving around ok.
We kept him in overnight (which didn't go down well)Vets today. He has perked up in the morning, vets at lunchtime, 2 puncture marks in the tail and bloodshot eye could be from a car hit......
We reckon he's been fighting on the shed roof/fence top and fell off.Vets cleaned him up, an antibotic and a painkiller jab and he was really perky this afternoon.
So perky he bought me a present, which after the photo was still alive........ the bird flapped into the laundry basket, i grabbed it and moved to a room with an open window, the bird make a break for the window, but cat was too fast (good drugs) and grabbed bird at the open window.......so close but so far.......
Chased cat and he dropped the bird who made another break for freedom out the window......bird made it this time, the contents of the window ledge didn't.
Cue a confused cat as his toy/tea has gone.I think he's allright after his late night fight and healing up. Might be grumpy in the morning when vets drugs wear off.

Gizmo cat was using me as a bit of a punchbag this morning, should of heeded the warning after a few lite jabs followed by a slow rack down the side of my face. All because she's jolly that it's Friday.

Seven days of no-outdoors for James today, he's very unhappy with this at the moment, and being very vocal.
Is he likely to calm down, or will we have a constant "miaow, miaow, MIAOW, miaow" in the background for the next five weeks?
