yeah, for real. it's terrible. it's like one of those shitty apologies which says "sorry you're offended" rather than " sorry i/we have done something offensive". i see what they're trying to say when they type:

but like... no. sorry chrome, you don't get to decide whether someone (or, indeed, a lot of people) being pissed off with you is an appropriate reaction to your action. and you definitely don't get to disregard the most irate or inflamed voices because they make you cringe and you don't have a decent enough reasoned response to back your shitty shit up.
cheers chrome for making it easier for people to associate boobs with girls and bikes, and for involving sexualisation of people's bodies to sell your overpriced products, and then fot not even really acknowledging how you've done some damage.

it's not like chrome have ever really exhibited themselves as staunch supporters of women or providers of bike things for women tho so i don't feel that let down...

A couple of days ago, chrome industries made a promotion in NYC during fashion week. They used models wearing only boyshorts, chrome shoes and mess bags to handout flyers.
They called it an anti fashion statement.
