  • A) I think you'd probably be fine as long as you don't drill too deep into the axle.

    C) from the photo I saw online it looks like you can just remove the axle from the wheel.
    D) don't bother doing it yourself, you'd want to set it up on a lathe to get the hole central and thread it properly.

    If you're happy to wait for a couple of weeks I'd do it for you. I just don't have the equipment at the moment.

    Nope. Novatec track hubs already have a ~5mm bore all the way through, which is fine as a pilot for an M6 tap. Using M6 mudguard screws will require opening up the eyes of the stays a bit.
