Bump for the BBs, headset, Brompton stuff and t-shirt.
Open to offers on the NJS and Brompton stuff, and sensible offers on the ceramic BB (I'm sure I'll find a use for it at some point).
OK, a bit more of a clear out. Definitely the last one (despite what I said last time). Collection central or South West (subject to office hours), I'll post the smaller items if I have to and I might be able to deliver the workstand within zones 1 & 2.
Post and then PM. No PM, no place in the queue. In fact, you might want to PM first.
As always, I'm open to sensible offers.
The gear:
Hatta Swan headset (1" NJS). Mainly track use, and wear/condition is consistent with that. The bearing surfaces are good, and it's generally pretty clean - some light marking from fitting/removal.
It's pretty nice, it's complete, it's just not for me (I'm a bit maintenance phobic, so I've got something slightly more utilitarian).
£40
Sugino 75 BB (NJS). Mainly track use - bearing surfaces are still nice and shiny, although the cups have a bit of a patina from the bearing cages. Gives you a perfect 42mm chainline with Sugino 75 or Dura Ace 7600 track cranks.
Again, it's a perfectly lovely BB, I just decided to get something a bit more utilitarian appease my maintenance phobia. I don't think I've got the little plastic sheath any more, so a few quid off for that.
£50
Ceramic BB (GXP). Black with silver accents, only a few hundred miles, insanely smooth/free turning. Came off the bike I split a few months ago, saved as I thought it would end up on another bike. It didn't, so now I'm selling it.
This is an Ultimate Ceramic Bearings GXP BB (black - manufacturer's website: http://www.ultimateceramicbearings.co.uk/product.php?id_product=102). Less than 1,000 miles, marks from installation and removal but otherwise very clean.
Save a few watts for slight commuter racing gains, or use it somewhere sensible like the track.
£65
42T SRAM X-Sync narrow-wide chainring (110 BCD). Unused - came with some CX1 cranks, and was taken off to make way for a more commute friendly 46T.
This is £78 on Chain Reaction, and hasn't even touched a chain. It has the threaded insert for the "hidden" bolt on SRAM cranks, which I can see being a bit of an annoyance for some people, so priced accordingly.
£sold
Brompton cranks (170mm 50T) and BB. Taken off my Brompton because I sort of fitted some carbon cranks to it for a giggle.
These would be about £60 new, and although they are very low mileage they're the old type, so priced accordingly.
£25
W Base t-shirt. Pretend that you like to buy fixed gear and BMX stuff in Japan. Japanese medium, so a UK small? I think I tried it on once, and then remembered that I'm not a small.
£10
Acre (Mission Workshop) tool wrap/roll. Unused. I'm not sure what the UK RRP on this is though, so let me know if I'm way off.
£sold
Park Tool workstand (from memory it's a PCS-9). Easily the most used thing I'm selling, but it's a work stand, it's not like you can really wear them out. Comes with a few tools (Superstar hex keys, some cable cutters) that are now redundant after a bit of a garage upgrade.
£sold
Vulpine Musette and/or Thomson 1.5" top cap- free with any other purchase. I can't imagine the musette is worth anything and after a decade in London I'm yet to meet anyone running a staight 1 1/2" steerer on any of their bikes.
