Sunday 6th-Sunday 13th September. Last stage in London, finishing in Regent Street--a pretty complex criterium:

I think this should be more interesting to watch than the usual boring routes they do.

Riders: van Baarle (last year's winner), Wiggogins, Cavendish, Greipel, Phinney, Stannard, Swift, Viviani, Boasson Hagen, Ciolek, Farrar, Dowsett et al.

  • Interest in this race, which starts today, is clearly running high. :)

  • How are time mod allowed to wear a non team jersey?

  • Uci rules say you can change once a year . Once pink from yello sky to that rain forest green or the last day this year yellow from blue. I think it has eff all to do with tommy simpson.

  • Great stage today and deservedly won by....

Well according to. Radio 5 it was Ellie Viviana that pipped Cav into second.

  • Looked a decent stage. I can't believe Cav let that slip though, he couldn't have been any better set up for it. Good to see old man House getting a podium, even if it was for the KOM jersey.

I found it slightly annoying how the commentators couldn't say the name of the race or any of the jerseys/competitions without saying the sponsors' names though.

  • Surprised more Team Sky fanboys aren't wearing DMT Vega shoes

  • Does anyone know what shoes Conor Dunne's wearing? They look big!

  • Think they're Northwave

  • Great racing today, like a solo breakaway win. Pendle Hill looks fun, although it just reminded me of a harrowing episode of 'Most Haunted Live' I watched a while back. The descent though, ooph.

  • What a ride! Great solo breakaway.

  • Etixx-Quick Step seem to have the knack for finding gems, that was an impressive ride by Vakoc.

  • Shitty end today for Vakoc :(

Why does the Tour of Britain feed give rider nationalities rather than the team they're on?

  • Another solid win for Viviani, although commentator talk of him being a favourite for the Worlds on the back if these two wins seems ambitious.

  • Is anyone planning on watching the stage on Sunday in London? Would be nice to have a forum corner.

  • Will definitely be up to watch this, and it'll be great to hook up with more forumungerers. Anyone have a preference where to watch? I'm assuming somewhere with an elevation to see over the crowd's heads.

  • Confusing cycling from Sky today, wound up the pace and drive the peloton, then got swamped and left Viviani nowhere. Excellent win for whatshisname though. He's going to be big, you heard it here first

  • Huge win for Fernando Gaviria. Stagiere.

Massive respect from Gripel to him.

  • wrong thred

  • That's the fella. He smashed it last year at the Tour de San Luis, wondered when he might show again. Jesus he is quick

  • Went to watch on the lower slopes of Hartside yesterday. Wonderful views and a great atmosphere as we came through the village of Melmerby. Highlight of the day is scoring Serge Pauwels discarded bottle. I've been really impressed with MTN-Qhubeka this year so a nice little souvenir.

  • Having ridden down the Aldwych/Strand this morning can confirm there is a shitload of Saturday night broken glass everywhere for the peloton to enjoy

  • That was some robust riding from Greipel...

  • Cutting up viviani and getting relegated to last on the stage.
