@Muppetteer I haven't tried them, but having seen them in the flesh (well, leather) they look good. They lack the 3M retroreflective stripe down the heel which the Quoc Pham shoes have, but other than that look very similar.
I went through the leather on the heel of the Quoc Phams I own. They lasted a long time (I only got a hole in the heel within the last 6 months or so) but they started to wear there very quickly and ended up looking pretty dog-eared for most of their lifespan, irrespective of my efforts to look after them. I think the very thin, flat sole with no heel was part of the problem.
