I was clearly taking the piss.
The starry eyed idealism and knee jerk reactions to the expression of any doubts about Corbyn remind me of when Obama was elected and won the Nobel Peace Prize for having done precisely fuck all. I'll be honest, I got swept up in that (I have an American passport so it did actually have some relevance to me). But that's why I'm very cynical about the atmosphere around Corbyn. Although in fairness I think while Obama was massively overrated at the start, he's massively underrated now.
