I'm never going to reading again.. Ever...

• #119078
fuck me this game has been turgid
-
• #119079
Those last two goals though...
-
• #119080
even more so in the second half
rodgers inherited a rodgers team playing rodgers football and he's gradually turning us into stoke
-
• #119081
Knew it , went out as nothing happening, 4 goals including overhead kick from benteke, how good was it ??

Naismith; unplayable in about 3 games in a season, invisible in the rest.

• #119083
Oh well, at least he's kept the haters happy today...

Fucking waste of time wasn't it?
Write in here before the next game you're going to (probably not till Charlton in Nov for me) if you want, I went on my Todd to Reading.

To my eternal shame we left 10 mins before time to try and get the shuttle bus to the station before the bun fight.... We heard the cheer go up and stupidly thought it was 4-2. . I'm all up for mickma sexy football but we have become embarrassing at the back. # worst away game ever. I'll be going to charlton so we should meet up at that horrid away pub/hotel by the station.

Shocking.
I stayed till the end to clap Dimitar McGoldrick, even though he wasn't at his best either he kept on 'running' through the whole game and looks class.
Saw the possession stats and shots on goal today and we were ahead on both counts, but they looked so incisive. They'll probably go and lose every week now but I think they could be a tip for promotion.

I thought mcgoldrick was our best player by a distance and seemed to have got back on board with mcarthy's "track back or don't play" regime.
Things we learnt:- Both are keepers are shite but Gerken is worse
- Douglas and skuse in the middle are not the answer
- Chambers as good a captain as he is, is not a right back
442 with Murphy and mcgoldrick up top, skuse and bishop in centre mid and parr back in the team..

Joses's post match interview on bbc had no eye contact at all. Arrogant and shifty. It's all starting to unravel at the bridge

Started? It's a process that started in February and is, sadly, becoming more obvious by the week...

Who's going to to be the first Chelsea fan on here to call for the head of Jose Mourinho?
It's a shame Benitez is under contract...

Good trolling but i can't see that happening Andy.
I'd like to think that we'll come good and finish in the top 4. His hysterics with the medical team didn't do him any favours.
You tell me what you'd do different tactically and in terms of starting XI as nobody has really come up with a solution as yet.
Sacking the manager in September certainly isn't the solution.
-
• #119092
I wouldn't sack him. His track record suggests he'll either sort it out quickly or he'll leave of his own accord.
They'll be a vacancy in Liverpool next season to entice him too.

Jose the gorgeous must stay, hard the fuck up and lead the entertainment for entire footy clan, he can do it.

Want to take a bet that Rodgers will be out of a job before Mourinho?
£10 donated towards the charity of your choice.

According to the oracles that support LFC that job is already take up by Klopp.
He has already said that his next club won't be a European elite club so maybe they've got a point.

And no Sears, or Sears on the wing?
It's hard to argue against Murphy's inclusion based on last season, but he's still not woken up yet.
I'd take Tommy Smith out and slot Chambers in at CB, with Parr and Knudsen at full back.
I'd be surprised if Gerken was in goal next game, he's only been back in the squad because Bialkowski's dad died, and conceding 8 in 2 games, even if he wasn't solely responsible, isn't good enough.

Not sure how we got out of that game with three points. Defoe clean through hits the post, Rodwell hits the crossbar and mason sneaks a winner on what was probably our best passage of play.
Mason and dier sat really deep, picking it up off the centre backs, I can understand dier doing that he can rotate with either one of them and let them skip forward, with mason it felt like he didn't trust them to bring the ball forward.
Lot of space between our holding midfielders and the attacking ones.Alli looked energetic, son's "pace" didn't seem that pacy to me, we look lost without eriksen to sit between the lines and stitch everything together. Chadli looks like he needs a confidence boost, several times he had an open look and rather than shoot looked to change foot and angle, as the chance slipped away. Townsend brought some energy and pace, and Lamela played a couple of cute passes, and missed a sitter of a header.
Got a win, but we're going to need to play better to keep doing so.
M'vila was all over the place, proper defensive midfielder, we should have put an offer in, probably too old for our current player philosophy...
Not sure how long mason will be out with his knee injury, but it was nice to see Carroll get on and not look out of place...

Leicester City gave Nathan Dyer an opportunity.
Dyer did not disappoint.
Jolly well done Nathan Dyer!
Excellent result their City. Now of course is today's main event, the biggest game in English football, the battle for 4th/5th place, the 2 clubs big on history, yes it's Manchester United v Liverpool.
