When building my cx I had same issue. Wanted cheap 1 1/8 carbon forks with room for big tyres. They do not exist :-( either you have to settle for 26", 29" with too long ac or forks with alu steerer. I ended up with alu steerer (which is nice if you want mudguards as they often have eyelets). Now I am saving up for the Ritchey full carbon forks which are 2-300 gbp :-(

Får försöka hitta på nått till vintern, den gaffeln jag har beställt kommer iaf att bli en bra sommargaffel när jag budar :)
