  • What are the inherent problems of disc brakes on a traditional low trail fork. Would a through axle solve any of these potential problems or are there (in theory) no problems? @edscoble and any other Bicycle Quarterly fans.

  • Work fine, but don't expect it to be stiff, I didn't have disc on my Oak for that reason.

    It still work pretty well and track true which is what I wanted.

  • Cheers Scoble. Stiffness isn't really that much of an issue, a bit of flexy bouncy forgiviness should make for some comfort.

    Strength in the fork crown an issue?
