What are the inherent problems of disc brakes on a traditional low trail fork. Would a through axle solve any of these potential problems or are there (in theory) no problems? @edscoble and any other Bicycle Quarterly fans.

The fork is what makes this bike fairly time-consuming to build: a beautiful bend with a properly aligned disc tab is a tricky bit of work.
Assume Jan Heine's comments would relate to the stiffness of the fork blades.
Thanks. Tab will be hard to make Pretty.
