I have never had a palatable coffee on Malta or Gozo. Always rank, and I'm really not fussy.
The generic filter coffee here in Yosemite tastes like red diesel but appears to be laced with whizz. Gets the heart beating like a fucked clock and fires you up for a days climbing. Free refills on this stuff makes it lethal...

I had the worst coffee I have ever tasted in Sannat, Gozo, a couple of days ago. It was incredible.
