2nd on these . Have winter commuted in them for years. Warm and dry and just won't die.

Long Sleeve Training Jersey or Long Sleeve Pro Team jersey, any Thoughts? I am thinking of something that I can wear for Autumn and under the Pro Team Softshell jacket when it turns frosty. Señor_Bear?

They stretch out a bit after a few wears. I didn't realise this until I bought a new one and compared.

Nope - WYSIWYG.

Training Jersey looks much nicer. Don't see the point in the long sleeved Pro Team TBH. That kind of jersey I'd always choose short sleeves and then carry arm warmers. Team Sky Winter Jersey also looks nice but I'm guessing is warmer than the Training Jersey.

All this talk of winter, when is it?

Gabba. Honestly a much more versatile thing for autumn into spring.

The long sleeve jersey is a thicker material that the short sleeve PT, so works for evening / early morning riding, which is something I do a lot.

We seriously need a Castelli / Gabba thread

a change in base layer would have the same effect though surely.
Personally if I had layering in mind I'd just get the standard LS jersey, as its wool. A bit of wool under a softshell is Nice and warm.
The temps are dropping crazy fast up here though. I may be over reacting.

Is it normal that seeing a £40 Rapha x Liberty CAP makes me feel sick in my stomach ?
-
• #22568
Did you miss the small print about it being extremely limited edition?
-
• #22569
I suppose that is totally normal. Collect all ten for a mere 400 shekels!
-
• #22570
think how much you could make on ebay though...
-
• #22571
Oof, that's about 4x more than what I'd expect to pay for a cycling cap.
-
• #22572
I think we need to combine

with
http://www.liberty.co.uk/fcp/product/Liberty//Wiltshire-Berry-S-Tana-Lawn-Cotton/613
and make our own damn Liberty print cycle caps.

Do Rapha even make clothing for everyday cyclists any more, or are they now far too niche for that? Every time their new range comes out I find less and less practical gear that I would consider purchasing even in the sale.
-
• #22574
Making clothing more condition specific and getting your client base to believe it = more sales.

Weird thing about those caps is they don't even say rapha on them - no black/white stripe as I would have expected. I like most x Liberty stuff, even though mostly not my kind of brands - but the VansxLiberty I buy most years is the same price as the usual, or maybe £5 more...
It's nice...
